The Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 50 is a zero-turn riding mower designed for efficient mowing, responsive handling, and durable residential use. It is powered by a 23 HP, 726cc Kawasaki FR691V twin-cylinder OHV engine, providing strong performance for larger lawns and demanding mowing conditions. Cub Cadet currently lists this configuration as model 17AIEACLA10.

The mower features a 50-inch AeroForce fabricated cutting deck designed to provide an even cut with fine clippings and reduced clumping. Its wide cutting path helps reduce mowing time on medium-to-large properties, while the zero-turn steering system allows precise maneuvering around trees, landscaping, fences, and other obstacles.

Dual hydrostatic transmissions provide smooth independent wheel control, with forward speeds of up to approximately 7 mph and reverse speeds up to approximately 3.5 mph. The ZT1 50 also uses a durable tubular steel frame with corrosion-resistant protection for long-term outdoor use.

The open-frame design and removable floor pan provide easier access to the mower deck and engine area for routine cleaning and maintenance. Adjustable lap bars with ergonomic hand grips help support comfortable operation during longer mowing sessions. Cub Cadet recommends comparable ZT1 50 configurations for properties with rolling terrain and multiple obstacles.
