DK2 OPG777 12-Inch 14 HP 429cc Kohler Command PRO Gas Stump Grinder

The DK2 OPG777 Stump Grinder is a heavy-duty gas-powered machine designed for removing tree stumps on residential, landscaping, and property-maintenance jobs. It is powered by a 14 HP, 429cc Kohler Command PRO CH440 engine and uses a direct-drive cutting system built for demanding stump-removal work.

The grinder features a 12-inch solid-steel cutting wheel equipped with 9 carbide teeth. The cutting system operates at approximately 3,600 RPM and delivers a cutting width of about 3.5 inches per pass. DK2 rates the machine to cut stumps up to approximately 12 inches above ground and 9 inches below ground, regardless of stump diameter, provided the stump can be accessed safely.

A heavy-duty welded steel frame, reinforced axle, and dual locking hitch pins help provide stability while grinding and make the unit easier to reposition over uneven terrain. The grinder also uses 145/70-6 pneumatic tires mounted on ATV-locking wheels.

For transport around a property, the OPG777 includes a removable tow bar with a 2-inch ball coupler, along with a drop stand and solid-bar lift handles. Additional operating features include a key shutoff and locking throttle.
