Toro Recycler 22-Inch 150cc Briggs & Stratton Self-Propelled SmartStow Gas Lawn Mower

The Toro Recycler 22-Inch Self-Propelled Gas Lawn Mower with SmartStow® is designed for residential lawn care with a wide cutting deck, front-wheel drive, and compact vertical storage. Toro identifies this mower as model 21445.

It is powered by a 150cc Briggs & Stratton 4-cycle engine producing 6.25 ft-lb gross torque. The engine uses recoil starting and Toro’s “Just Check & Add” maintenance approach, which eliminates routine oil changes under normal maintenance while still requiring the oil level to be checked and topped off as needed.

The mower features a 22-inch Recycler® steel cutting deck with Vortex Technology, which increases airflow beneath the deck to improve cutting and mulching performance. It supports mulching, rear bagging, and discharge operation, with a 2.1-bushel grass bag included.

A front-wheel-drive self-propel system helps move the mower across the lawn, while high rear wheels improve maneuverability over uneven ground. Cutting height is adjustable from 1 to 4 inches using a four-point height adjustment system.

Toro’s SmartStow® system allows the mower to be folded and stored vertically, saving up to approximately 70% of floor space compared with storing a conventional walk-behind mower in its normal operating position.
